Most Beautiful Place of Khagrachori

Sajek Valley

Sajek was unexplored for a long time and recently it emerged as a tourist spot for it’s outstanding natural beauty. The place does not have modern tourist facilities but tourists mostly enjoy the nature and culture of the place. Though the valley is in Rangamati but to tourists prefer the route from Kagrachari to Sajek valley through Dighinala Bazaar, Bagaihat Bazaar and Machalong Haat. Major transport is Chander Gari which is like a four wheel jeep. Tourists can also go to Sajek from Rangamati by engine vessel. It takes 5–6 hours in that route.[

Alutila Mysterious Cave

Alutila Hill is 150 meter long and very beautiful attractive tourist place of Bangladesh. It is surrounded by deep green forest. Approximately 100 meters long a very dark Cave is the mysterious beauty of Alutila hill. If you are courageous and adventure lover, then this is a perfect spot to vanquish. There is no risk, nothing to warry, it is absolutely safe cave. It will take 15 minutes to pass the cave. Most interesting thing is the cold water flowing at bottom. From top of the hill you can see all around the Khagrachari town. This is an excellent picnic spot.

Richhang waterfall
Richhang is another natural waterfall and one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Khagrachhari District of Bangladesh. Not so wide and not as great as Jadepai or Nafakhum, but this beautiful waterfall successfully surprised the domestic and foreign travelers with its intrinsic natural beauty.

Nunchhori Debota Pond
 Nunchhori Debota Pond (Matai Pukhiri/Goddess Pond) is a remarkable lake known as the Matai Pukhiri, 500 meters above ground level at Nunchhari in Khagrachhari District. According to a legend of the Tripura tribe, the water of this lake never dries up nor becomes dirty, which is why it is called Matai Pukhiri or the Lake of God. 



Panchari Shantipur Aranya Kutir

Khagrachhari (Bengali: খাগড়াছড়ি) is a district in south-eastern Bangladesh. It is a part of the Chittagong Division and the Chittagong Hill Tracts. Its local name is “Chengmi”. Khagrachhari is also known as Phalang Htaung or the Mong Circle (of the rest of the three hill districts Rangamati is the Chakma Circle and Bandarban is the Bohmong Circle). Khagrachhari town is the home town of the Mong Chief (currently King, or Raja, Saching Prue Chowdhury who is the head of the Arakanese descendants living in the circle. It also is the administrative headquarters of Khagrachhari district. Panchari Shantipur Aranya Kutir – 25 km south from Khagrachhari is peripheral region. The largest Buddha sculpture of Bangladesh  (Panchari Brihot Buddha Sculpture) is situated here.
